So who are we?

Most AI visibility tools hand you a number. A score out of a hundred, a share of voice, a line that moved last week. What almost none of them hand you is the evidence underneath it — the answers the engines actually gave, how many times they were asked, and where the questions came from in the first place.

DoableClaw is built the other way round. Five questions, asked three times on each of four engines, and every one of those sixty answers kept in full on a link you can send to anyone. The number is a claim; the answer is what makes it checkable.

What DoableClaw actually does today

It finds the questions your buyers already ask — from Reddit threads, People-Also-Ask entries, the rivals ranking for them, and your own Search Console — then asks each one twelve times across Google AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT and Perplexity. Sixty are tested against quality gates and five survive as your locked benchmark, so next month measures the same five rather than a freshly chosen set.

Connect Search Console and it goes further: it names the exact URL Google already answers each question with, reads your real market from clicks instead of assuming the United States, and counts how many different pages Google uses to answer your own brand name. On our own site that number is fifty-two, which is why no assistant has a clear page to cite.

And the edge of it, stated here rather than discovered later: briefs and drafts — handing back the page itself rather than naming it — are in build and not shipped. Today you get the gap, the URL, and the evidence. What goes on the page is still yours to write.

Doable Claw vs Profound

What Profound actually does

Profound is an enterprise AEO platform. It tracks your brand across AI answer engines at portfolio scale, scores sentiment, benchmarks you against rivals, and reports it to a marketing team that already knows what to do with the data.

Two things it has that nobody else does. Prompt Volumes is panel data on what millions of people genuinely ask AI — not inferred from Reddit or search features, measured. And Agent Analytics tracks the AI crawlers hitting your site and how they read it, which is a category of visibility we do not touch at all.

The pricing matches that buyer. Starter is $99 a month billed yearly and covers ChatGPT alone, with 1,500 responses a month. Three engines start at $399 a month on Growth. Ten-plus engines including Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are enterprise.

One question to ask any tool in this market

How many times did you ask? SparkToro and Gumshoe repeated the same prompts across ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI nearly 3,000 times, and two runs of one prompt returned the same list of brands less than once in a hundred. A separate 2026 study found gaps under roughly 5–7 points were indistinguishable from measurement noise.

Doable Claw

3 runs per engine

12 answers behind every question, 60 per reading

Profound (Growth)

1 run per engine, per day

derived from their own published response count

*Profound's Growth plan lists 100 prompts, 3 answer engines and 9,000 monthly responses. 100 × 3 × 30 days is exactly 9,000, which leaves one run per prompt per engine per day and nothing spare for a repeat. We have not tested this and claim nothing past their arithmetic — if it is wrong, tell us and this page changes.

We ran it on ourselves first

A comparison page that only contains good news about the company that wrote it is worth nothing.

  1. The assistants named us zero times. Across 59 answers on our own five questions, not one named DoableClaw. That is the reading our own tool gave us, and we are publishing it.
  2. We rank ninety-first for our own category. "ai brand checker" brings us 94 impressions a month and we sit at position 91.4. The page exists and it is the right page — it simply has no standing.
  3. Fifty-two pages answer our own name. Google uses 52 different pages of our site to answer "doable claw". Position one hides it, and an assistant choosing one page to cite has no clear winner.
  4. One of our own classifiers was wrong. A first version put 14 of 17 queries in a single bucket and returned no headline at all. We found it by running it rather than reading it, and rewrote it.

Which one fits your team

There is a real case for both, and for most teams they are not the same purchase.

Pick Profound if Pick Doable Claw if
You need coverage across a whole category, not depth on five questions You want to know a number is real before you believe it — twelve answers sit behind each one
You want panel data on what people really ask AI, and crawler analytics on your own site You want the URL that causes the gap, not only the score that reports it
You have a marketing team and a budget that clears $1,188 a year before the third engine You are still working out whether this matters for your business, and want to start free

Common questions

The things people ask before they pick one.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Profound? +

The audit here is free and needs no card, which is a different thing from cheaper. Profound's entry plan is $99 a month billed yearly and covers ChatGPT alone; three engines start at $399. If you are still working out whether AI visibility matters for your business, spending $1,188 a year to find that out is the wrong first step.

How many times does Profound run each prompt? +

Once per engine per day, by their own published numbers. The Growth plan lists 100 prompts, 3 engines and 9,000 monthly responses, and 100 × 3 × 30 is exactly 9,000, leaving nothing over for a repeat. We have not tested it and claim nothing beyond their arithmetic.

Why does the number of runs matter? +

AI answers are non-deterministic. SparkToro and Gumshoe repeated the same prompts nearly 3,000 times and found two runs of one prompt returned the same brand list less than once in a hundred. A figure from a single run is one draw from that, so a dashboard that moves three points in a week may be showing you the engine breathing rather than your work landing.

How do I check whether ChatGPT mentions my brand? +

Asking once tells you almost nothing, for the reason above. Ask a question your buyer would actually type, ask it several times on more than one engine, and count the answers your name appears in rather than the number of times it appears. That is what the free audit does — five questions, four engines, three runs each, and every answer kept so you can read them yourself.

Why only five questions when Profound tracks fifty? +

Sixty are tested and five survive the gates — the ones a buyer would type, that separate one vendor from another, and that the engines answer with real retrieval. The other fifty-five are shown to you with the reason each was rejected. It is a deliberate trade: five questions asked twelve times cannot tell you your standing across a category, and fifty asked once cannot tell you whether a move was real.

Do you write the content that closes the gap? +

Not yet. Today you get the gap, the exact URL Google already answers that question with, and the evidence behind both. Briefs and drafts are in build and not shipped, and we would rather say so on this page than have you discover it after signing up.

Can I use both? +

Plenty of teams should. Profound for the breadth, the panel data and the crawler analytics; DoableClaw as the audit you run first and the one you hand to somebody who wants to read the evidence themselves. They answer different questions and neither replaces the other.
