  • The Gap

Answers where an assistant recommended somebody else instead of you — counted per answer, never per mention.

  • The Half-Win

Questions named on one run and missed on the next. Visible only because each is asked three times, and usually the cheapest thing on the list.

  • Your Pages

Pages an assistant opened for facts on this run and passed over anyway. One edit away, and the run names the engine that read it.

  • Open Ground

Cited pages anyone can get onto, where a rival is named and you are not. About half of what gets cited; a rival's own site is never among them.

The plan

Ranked by what they cost, not by what sounds impressive

Cheapest first. Each row carries the evidence it came from, so you can disagree with it.

A ranked list of places to answer, ordered by where the buyers already are.

01 Answer where they already talk

The assistants quote threads and videos before they quote you. Every platform read for your market is listed with the thread URL, whether a rival is named in it, and whether anybody is — because an uncontested thread is worth more than a crowded one.

Existing pages queued for a fix, each with the reason it was flagged.

02 Fix the pages they already read

Some of your own pages were opened on this run and passed over anyway. The assistant had your facts and recommended somebody else, which is a format problem rather than an authority one and a different fix from writing something new.

A page preview beside its receipt — the page, the assistants fed by it, the full answer and the rival recommended instead.

03 Every row opens the receipts

Open a row and you get the answers that page fed, word for word, which engines read it, and who was recommended instead. Around 4,400 characters each, nothing summarised away.

Unclaimed topics listed as new pages to write.

04 Take the ground nobody owns

Listicles, review pages and press no one controls. A rival is already named on most. Getting onto one is slower than an edit, which is why it sits last — and the plan marks which are reachable instead of listing a competitor's own domain as an opportunity.

FAQ

Questions people actually type

What teams ask before they run their first plan.

How do I get my brand mentioned in ChatGPT? +

There are four ways, from cheapest to hardest: win a question you already half-win, fix a page AI already reads, answer the thread AI is quoting, or get onto a third-party page AI already cites. Growth Opportunities ranks all four for your website and shows the answers each one came from.

Why does AI read my website but recommend a competitor? +

Because being read and being recommended are different things. In one real run, the company's own site was cited in nine answers that went on to name a rival. The trust was there, but the page format wasn't, so the fix is an edit, not a new page.

What is a content gap in AI search? +

It's an answer your buyers get where a competitor is named and you are not. We count it once per answer, not per mention, so a brand named four times in one answer still counts once and a chatty AI doesn't look like market share.

How do I know a fix actually worked? +

The questions stay the same and are asked again on a schedule, so the next reading measures exactly the same thing. That shows whether your number moved. It can't prove your change caused it, and nobody in this field can honestly claim that yet.

How do I rank on Reddit for AI search? +

Find the Reddit threads AI already reads for your market, which we list with links, and answer the ones where no brand is named yet. We mark those open threads separately for that reason.

Should I fix my own site or third-party sites first? +

Your own pages, almost always. Editing a page AI already opens is the fastest route; third-party sites take weeks and depend on someone else's schedule.

Does this write the content for me? +

Not yet. You get the action, the exact page or thread, and the answers behind it. Content briefs and drafts are being built but aren't live. Even the big enterprise tools don't write the content; Profound says plainly that it gives briefs, not finished pages.
